Therapy that makes space for the way your mind actually works
Counselling for adults in Walthamstow, East London, and online across the UK.
If you've spent your life feeling out of step, working twice as hard to keep up, or quietly believing you're the problem — you're in the right place. Together, we'll make sense of why, and build a life that works with you instead of against you.
Maybe you've always felt like life takes more effort than it seems to for everyone else...
You've worked incredibly hard to build the life you have. From the outside people often see someone who's capable, thoughtful and coping well. What they don't see is how much effort it takes to keep all the plates spinning, or how lonely it can feel when you're carrying everything on your own.
Perhaps you've always felt a little out of step with everyone else.
You've learnt to adapt, to people-please, to push through exhaustion and tell yourself you simply need to try harder. Maybe something has changed—a period of burnout, a major life event, or simply having enough breathing space to realise the old ways of coping aren't serving you anymore.
Together we'll make sense of what's been going on, understand how your brain works, and replace years of self-criticism with self-trust.
Therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about helping you understand yourself with compassion, trust yourself again, and create a life that feels sustainable rather than something you simply survive.

You don't need to have everything figured out to come to therapy
You might be feeling:
Overwhelmed by everyday life
Exhausted from constantly trying to keep up
Anxious or stuck in self-criticism
Burnt out from pushing yourself too hard
Drained by relationships or social situations
Like you've spent years adapting to everyone else
Unsure whether ADHD, autism or neurodivergence might help make sense of your experiences
Therapy doesn't have to follow a formula
There's no single right way to be in therapy. Some people need space to reflect and make sense of things; others prefer more structure, clarity or a practical approach.
I believe therapy should adapt to you — not the other way around. We can move at your pace, with room to think out loud, notice patterns, sit with uncertainty and work through what's on your mind.
I offer counselling for adults online across the UK and in-person in Walthamstow, East London.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available weekly or fortnightly depending on your needs and availability. My standard rate is £65 per session but I do have a limited number of concessionary slots available (get in touch for details)
I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, self-esteem and relationships. As a BACP Registered member, I particularly enjoy working with autistic adults and adults with ADHD — whether diagnosed, self-identified, curious, or perhaps never having considered neurodivergence as part of their story.
If you’re unsure whether counselling with me would be helpful, you’re welcome to get in touch to request a free 20 minute consultation call. Clicking the button below will take you to my contact page to add your details and I'll aim to be in touch within 24 hours to arrange a call at a convenient time.
